B. The Year of the Sheep approaches
---
As always, this year has flown by and we see 2015 on the horizon.
So we're scheduling dozens of community events to celebrate The Year of the Sheep, which starts on February 19th.
We welcome invitations from parents and educators to visit your schools, libraries, and associations to present our new heroine Sydney - she is a curious lamb that kids will identify with!
Illustrator Alina Chau is also available for artistic and bookstore programs. Email us at events @ immedium.com.
"Author Chin again introduces rollicking exploits to inspire and entertain, all the while celebrating the Asian culture that infuses our daily American lives."

C. Holiday Shopping in San Francisco
---
Getting gifts is fun at the upcoming Kimochi Silver Bells event in San Francisco on Sunday, 12/13, at St. Mary's Cathedral (corner of Gough and Van Ness).
This annual arts and crafts fair benefits this non-profit organization that provides cultural programs and social services 3,000 Bay Area seniors and their families.
Author Oliver Chin will autograph all the adventures from the Tales from the Chinese Zodiac series, plus other Immedium storybooks.
Giving these personalized presents makes a great tradition.
We look forward to seeing you at the festival.
2. REVIEWS
Play with your Food
By Dave Derrick
"David Derrick, Jr., a former DreamWorks animator who currently works with Disney Feature Animation, and author of Play With Your Food said he decided to write children's books to find his own voice as an artist. 'I wanted to do a book that was about prehistoric animals, but not dinosaurs," he said. "I try to have little educational things in all my books.' "

Good Dream, Bad Dream
By Juan Calle and Serena Valentino
"My oldest daughter has taken Spanish all throughout high school, so the younger boys enjoyed hearing her read the Spanish interpretations. Even if Spanish is not a language that is familiar to your family, the translation included on each page can be a learning opportunity."
