Asian Americans Pacific Islanders (AAPI) are organizing communities to combat ongoing prejudice against AAPIs. President Biden will appoint a permanent director to coordinate government's policies, such as launching federal projects to celebrate contributions of Asian Americans.
We created our new graphic novel Awesome Asian Americans with this goal. Co-authors Phil Amara and Oliver Chin and artist Juan Calle continue to share this illustrated anthology with audiences nationwide.

The Woollyhoodwinks vs. the Dark Patch
by Jeff Root and Scott Runcorn
"This is an adorable book... The character names are unique, adding to the fun of reading, too. I love how the author stayed true to the "fabric" of the story, stitching the dark patch to the page... There are several layers to this story. The primary theme is dealing with your fear of the dark, but it also speaks to being brave, helping your friends, and creative problem solving."
