A. Watch Dragon Boats race!

Enjoy the Northern California International Dragon Boat Festival this coming weekend at Lake Merritt in Oakland, CA. In this 23rd annual celebration a fleet of colorful 40-foot dragon boats race to the beat of Chinese drums on September 15th and 16th.
This free festival brings world-class races, cultural performances, and Immedium's kid-friendly booth at Dragon Land. Here families can delight in our colorful storybooks.
This is our 13th year in attendance and one of our favorite events of the year! We look forward to seeing you.

Oliver Chin reads storytimes at the spectacular California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park on September 28th and October 13th. Each reading features a simultaneous bilingual translation in Chinese.
This month, Oliver presents the crowd favorite Sid the Squid and the Search for the Perfect Job by David Derrick.

The Discovery of Fireworks and Gunpowder,
the sequel in our series The Asian Hall of Fame.
The project was successfully funded and we're busy producing the book for printing. It should be finished and ready to ship by Thanksgiving.
