A. Daniel the Dog returns!
dog We've come full circle to herald The Year of the Dog, the first adventure in our series Tales from the Chinese Zodiac.

The new edition features a bilingual translation in simplified Chinese and a revised cover, illustrated by Jeremiah Alcorn.

Chinese New Year is February 16th.

We kickoff the fun this Saturday (1/6) at the Japanese Community Center of Northern California in San Francisco's Japantown. From 11 am to 3 pm, enjoy their annual Oshogatsu Matsuri festival: musical performances, handmade mochi, and our children's books.

Then we'll read our inaugural family storytime at Books Inc. on Sunday at 11 am in Burlingame, CA on 1/28 (1375 Burlingame Avenue).

B. Oliver Chin visits Bellevue, WA
The Bellevue School District in Washington state has invited author Oliver Chin to present at all their elementary schools.

In three weeks, Oliver will visit 15 schools and share the love of reading, writing, and drawing with thousands of students.

Oliver travels to the Pacific Northwest from
- 1/8-1/12
- 1/22-1/26
- and the week of March 5th.

Bellevue has an incredibly diverse and growing student body. Immedium is eager to share our multicultural stories with them.

If your school would like an author visit, please email us at info@immedium.com.

C. Octonauts box set sells out!
octonauts box set Our 10th year anniversary Octonauts box set sold out immediately.

New and longstanding fans both agree that this commemorative keepsake is a great way to showcase the Octonauts' original adventures on your bookshelf.

Plus the special fold out poster was a bonus!

So never fear... we are reprinting it!

The second printing is happening as we speak. We appreciate your patience and loyal readership as always.

The Discovery of Ramen

"[My daughter] sat and read the book completely engrossed in the contents... she did thoroughly enjoy reading about the history of ramen, and how it came to be a staple for many Japanese restaurants."

Tales from the Chinese Zodiac Box Set

"Our children's collection was never complete without the latest 'installment' of Tales from the Chinese Zodiac. These books are a wonderful way to celebrate the New Year and to enjoy delightful escapades year round."
