A. Weekend events in SF Bay area

This weekend we'll share our books across the San Francisco Bay area.
On Saturday, November 12th, we attend the Winter Boutique of the Japanese American Museum of San Jose (JAMsj). Author Oliver Chin will autograph books to benefit the museum, which was founded in 1987 and renovated in 2010. This annual fundraiser is a popular holiday shopping event with dozens of arts and crafts vendors.

The following day, Sunday, November 13th, we'll exhibit at the Birth and Baby Fair, at the Golden Gate Club in the Presidio of San Francisco. New and expectant parents enjoy gearing up for the growing families. Plus there are free goody bags, workshops, and giveaways!

B. The Year of the Rooster

The sky may seem dark and cloudy today, but buck up... our new hero Ray is on his way!
The Year of the Rooster will arrive in the USA around Thanksgiving. This is the 12th and concluding adventure in our annual series Tales from the Chinese Zodiac.
To commemorate this, we've printed a special poster (18 x 24), featuring all the bright and helpful animals from our newest story.
This year's amazing artwork is by Juan Calle, the illustrator of Good Dream, Bad Dream.
As a special offer, we'll give a free 8x10 print (of the cover or the poster image) to the first 5 people who pre-order The Year of the Rooster from our website.
Remember: the sun will come up tomorrow...so do your best to get ready for it!
