A. Choo-choo and All Aboard!
---
Surely, kids playing trains is all in good fun. But have you ever wished, "Please, no more reruns or episodes that are infomercials for new toys." If you have, a breath of fresh track air has arrived.

Long-time aficionados have given their thumbs up to our brand new book Timmy & Tammy's Train of Thought. Jennifer Lindsay, the News Editor for Model Railroad News wrote, "It's a very cute book and I thoroughly enjoyed it."

Our San Francisco launch party is next week June 12th at Books, Inc. in Laurel Village at 7 pm. All are invited to come, especially kids who are out of school and their parents who need something fun for them to do!

We're kicking off many events this month from the Golden State (California) to the "Yellowhammer State" (Alabama, where our talented illustrator Heath McPherson calls home). For example, we'll be at the California State Railroad Museum in Sacramento on June 30th. Author Oliver Chin will read three times in a special "family members" evening.

Meanwhile we are partnering with more railways and museums from Kentucky and Alberta (Canada) to Massachusetts and New York, so we appreciate your sharing the news with your fellow train lovers.

B. Preview of Octonauts sequel: The Sea of Shade
---
October is only three months away. But it is an eternity for Octonauts fans who can't get enough of these courageous critters.

AsianBuzz recently wrote, "I LOVE all the sea creatures in this book." Luckily there are more on their way.

True to our campaign promise, we will deliver the boffo sequel: The Octonauts & The Sea of Shade! Ooooh, it sounds scary...but rest assured this tale will have tiny tots' hearts all a glow.

We're putting the finishing touches on the second Octo-episode for Octo-ber. In the meantime, every month we'll share a special wonderful seascape created by Meomi.
Here is the first!

C. Immedium inspires new readers
---
Last month Immedium was profiled on Indie Entrepreneur, which covers independent entrepreneurs in the creative and design fields.

Then recently The Opinionated Parent gave the full court press to our entire line of children's books. We're glad that opinionated parents like what we're doing!

"My daughter sat on my lap, transfixed, as we went through each story. She enjoyed the characters and how vibrant and colorful they are. At the end of a story she would ask me, "Again?" and we would have to go through it again. That is how entertaining these books were for her - she is so active and is constantly on the go, so for her to sit still on my lap was a good sign she was enjoying the stories!"
- Michelle, The Opinionated Parent

Feel free to drop us a line with your feedback as we create upcoming books for your reading pleasure.

2. REVIEWS
Timmy and Tammy's Train of Thought
(ISBN: 1-59702-008-7, $15.95)

"a great one for the kids. Every child can identify with this one. This story is about Timmy and Tammy dreaming about trains, playing with trains, and wanting to ride a train. Much to their surprise, their parents have a surprise trip planned for them, a train ride. We all can identify with pretending to be a train engineer or something else that we wanted to be as a kid. It's a fun read and a must have for all dreamers."

The Octonauts
(ISBN: 1-59702-005-2, $15.95)

"a great tale of a underwater crew who are looking for fun, when they come upon a lonely creature. They are trying to help the lonely creature find his family when they realize that he is the only one like him in the sea. It is a great way to show our kids that every single person is unique and we all have our own special qualities. It is a super cute story and another must have for all young ones."
- Stephanie Mackeys, The Opinionated Parent

Year of the Pig: Tales from the Chinese Zodiac
(ISBN: 1-59702-007-9, $15.95)

"The characters were enchanting, the stories engrossing.... And I liked how educational the books are, both of which have a description at the end of what it means to be born in the Year of the Dog (or Year of the Pig). The illustrations are extraordinary pieces of art. I can't wait to get each of the books in this series."

The Adventures of WonderBaby: from A to Z
(ISBN: 1-59702-001-X, $8.95)

"the alphabet section is one of the best I have ever seen. Each page not only has a noun corresponding to the letter, but a verb as well. So instead of 'A is for Apple,' you have 'Acts like an Animal.' Masterful! And bonus? Each page of the book has a ladybug 'hidden' on it which my 2 year old discovered (before I did!) and loves to look for on each page. This book is engaging and educating. A real keeper."
