A. New book: Animals Don't, So I Won't!
---
If you like visiting zoos and aquariums, then Animals Don't, So I Won't! is the story for you!

Our new tale features a boy who loves animals so much, that he becomes them. But Ben has another good reason to change: this way he doesn't have to obey his parents to clean up, eat dinner, and take a bath. But little does he expect that his mom can transform too!

David Derrick (author of Sid the Squid) shares his funny fable with kids throughout Southern California at schools, stores, libraries, and the Santa Monica Aquarium.

Watch the animated trailer on YouTube.

B. The Treehouse Heroes go APE
---
Another eagerly awaited adventure arrives later this month:

Visit us at the Alternative Press Expo (October 13-14 in San Francisco), where illustrator Alina Chau will autograph at our booth #539.

"Alina, I just had to email you to say how much I love your artwork, especially The Treehouse Heroes and the Forgotten Beast sketches and colour pieces you placed on your site. It has a great synergy of traditional and modern art that just struck a chord with me. AMAZING! ...thank you, for creating such inspirational work."
- Haydn Dalton, Lead Designer - Darksiders II video game

- Also come meet Attaboy, who will sign his storybook You Might be a Monster.

The San Francisco launch party for The Treehouse Heroes is November 17th at Books Inc. Meanwhile, author Phil Amara will schedule upcoming events in Boston.

C. Justin Time picks up fans
---
The animated TV series Justin Time launched in Canada last month to a warm reception.

"When my 5 year old son and 8 year old daughter watched the first few episodes they were captivated by the fun nature of the adventures that Justin and his faithful pals embark on. They both remained intrigued during the entire show in order to find out just how the adventures panned out." - The Survival Guide for Rookie Moms

2. REVIEWS

Justin Time: The Pancake Express
ISBN: 978-1-59702-035-0, 36 pages, $15.95

"The Pancake Express tells the story of Justin and his friends trying to make it through the Canadian wilderness with their barrel of maple syrup in time for the Pancake Festival. The pictures are vivid and colorful and I loved seeing my boys able to point out and name all the characters since the characters were familiar from watching the series." - Natural Mommie
