Sora and the Cloud
By Felicia Hoshino (www.felishino.com)
This childhood adventure is like Hayao Miyazaki meeting the Red Balloon! Beautifully handcrafted, it blends a classic theme of growing up with a child's fantastic imagination (and mother's heartfelt love). This book is our first with a Japanese-American theme and bilingual translation (Japanese). It is also the first book written by the award-winning artist Felicia Hoshino.

To reach new readers, we have posted samples of our stories online. People love our books' covers, but we always tell them the illustrations inside are even better!
www.scribd.com/immedium/
Now you can "look inside" and see the first 5 pages of any children's book, along with the dust jacket descriptions and back cover (or more for the books Desert to Dream and Robot Stories).
Scribd is a social reading and publishing website, which enables users to upload different types of documents and make them searchable (across the web and within the documents themselves), social, readable within websites and blogs.
Feel free to share these previews with friends, and try reading new stories!
2. REVIEWS
The Year of the Rabbit: Tales from the Chinese Zodiac
978-1-59702-0, $15.95
"Roth's illustrations make the book really engaging for children. The picture book is bright, colorful and comical. Even if the child does not have a preexisting interest in the Chinese zodiac, the illustrations help make the topic inviting and, upon reading, enjoyable. They will remind children of cartoons from television or the movies, making the story of Rosie and The Year of the Rabbit something they want to read and understand."

Sid the Squid: and the Search for the Perfect Job
978-1-59702-021-3, $15.95
"A Children's Book that Entertains Adults Too...While the majority of preschoolers and early elementary-age children whom the book is directed at are probably not concerned that they will not find their dream job, the book does provide an empowering message that adults (particularly the recently college-educated, but jobless) will want to pass on to their children. And for the children themselves, the book provides an endearingly earnest squid they can root for."
