A. Giddyup with Billie the Unicorn!
---
Never fear...Billie the Unicorn is here!

"The book is very sweet and will catch the attention of children, who will identify themselves in the young unicorn Billie and follow her adventure. Adults, especially if they have never grown up like us, will love the beautiful illustrations by Brianne Drouhard. Billie teaches everyone not to give up at the first sign of trouble and not to be taken in by appearances, because even a corncob can become a flower!"

2. REVIEWS & INTERVIEWS

The Year of the Rabbit: Tales from the Chinese Zodiac 978-1-59702-023-7, $15.95

"This bright and playful story makes the ancient tradition of the Chinese zodiac accessible to children everywhere. Justin Roth's illustrations are in keeping with earlier titles in the series and reflect his background as an animator: the cartoon-like characters have exaggerated faces that children will respond to. Kids will also have fun spotting all of the animals from the Chinese zodiac hiding in the pages of the book…The Year of the Rabbit is a timely way for the youngest readers to get acquainted with this aspect of Chinese tradition."

The Octonauts
http://www.immedium.com/products/octonaut.html

"I love Octonauts! I became a fan of the artists (Meomi) years and years ago when I chose one of their drawings for an avatar on livejournal. Recently they did the little characters for the Vancouver Olympics. Then I bought the first Octonauts book (this is all way before my son was born), so I was very pleased to hear about the TV show. I'm not normally that into kids stuff but I just think it's very cute, well thought out, and just all-round ace design and characterisation. I know I shouldn't let my four-month-old watch tv (ahem...), but once he was upset and watching Octonauts from his bouncer was the only thing that calmed him, so I've made sure to have a few recorded on the Sky+. I think the episodes are brilliant and can't wait until he's old enough to watch it properly. "
