A. Happy Year of the Snake

Happy new year!
We welcome the debut of Suzie the snake who rings in the lunar crossover on February 10th.
Author Oliver Chin kicks the season off this Saturday morning in San Francisco's Japantown. Come to the JCCCNC's Oshogatsu Matsuri festival and enjoy mochi, taiko, and a warm community.
Artist Jennifer Wood participates again in the annual Chinese New Year celebration in Riverside, CA on January 26th.
Both creators will share the Tales from the Chinese Zodiac at many more events at schools, libraries, and cultural museums.
Meanwhile, we're reprinting The Year of the Rat (2007), Tiger (2009), and Dragon (2012):

Just like its globe-trekking hero, the TV show Justin Time is entertaining fans in more than a dozen countries around the globe.
Immedium published the first book adaptation The Pancake Express a few months ago. In America, you can view episodes on PBS Sprout and NBC Kids on Saturday mornings.
Produced by Guru Studio, the animated series airs on Disney Junior channels in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany and Italy. The series also broadcasts on Discovery Kids Latin America, Discovery Familia in the U.S., Finland's YLE, Israel's Hop!, South Korea, and Super RTL (SRTL) Germany.
