a. San Francisco Dragon Boat festival on Treasure Island (www.sfdragonboat.com), September 17 & 18th.
We always have a fantastic time greeting fans, families, and our fair share of 120 dragon boat teams and 3,500 dragon boat paddlers. We'll celebrate the upcoming 2012 Year of the Dragon early, with a special limited edition Year of the Dragon "boat" T-shirt!
b. Babes & Babies shopping event, Jewish Community Center (www.jccsf.org), September 25th.
The best baby shower, birthday, and holiday presents are our books. Expectant and new moms, supportive spouses, and proud grandparents enjoy getting and giving our kid-friendly adventures.
c. Alternative Press Expo (www.comic-con.org/ape), San Francisco Concourse, October 1-2nd.
We exhibit at APE for the first time (Booth 611, south side, upper deck, middle!). We'll share posters and shirts with new readers who appreciate independent publishers, fantastic artwork, and cool storytelling.
