A. Special autographed copies of Octonauts & Year of the Dragon
---
This month, we offer two "thank you" promotions to our readers:

1. The Octonauts:
The author Meomi will happily handwrite dedications for anyone who orders a book via our website, from now till April 20th.

They will add your dedications on their autographed faceplates that are included in each copy. If you tell us your favorite sea creature - Meomi may even attempt to draw it :)

2. The Year of the Dragon:
We have 7 copies autographed by both the author and artist. At March's WonderCon, Jennifer Wood drew special pictures of Dominic, and these are the only copies left! The first people who order the book via our website this month will get them.

As a bonus, the first 5 people who order a Dragon book + any another book (at least 2 books total) will receive a free 8 x 10 photo collage of the Dragon's cast of characters.

B. Justin Time on PBS Sprout
---
Justin Time is a new animated TV series about a boy who has a great imagination! Justin magically travels to different countries and eras, having fun with his pals Olive and Squidgy.

The show debuts on April 22 (Earth Day), 3:45 p.m. EST, in America on the cable channel PBS Sprout. On July 7th it will air Saturday mornings on NBC Kids.

In September, the series will begin in Canada on Disney Junior.

We'll publish official adaptations of the TV episodes, starting in September too! The first is Justin Time: The Pancake Express.

In the first story, Justin travels the Canadian wilderness to drive his very own steam engine. With Squidgy's help, can he deliver important cargo for Olive? Maple syrup is needed for the Pancake Festival at Flapjack Falls!

By fall, the show should have built up a head of steam, so they'll be eager readers of this colorful adventure.

C. Sora news + Apple iBooks
---
Felicia Hoshino's (www.felishino.com) tale Sora and the Cloud has just been named a finalist in Foreword magazine's Book of the Year contest.

"Sora and the Cloud is a lovely celebration of Japanese-American culture, and reminds us that keeping traditions alive is an important part of who we are." - Masala Reader

Also, our popular adventure Julie Black Belt (www.julieblackbelt.com) is now available on Apple iBooks.

"I would recommend this book for any martial arts student (or potential student) as a way to show the reality of martial arts and the pride one can have for EARNING a yellow belt, instead of being handed a black belt." - One Zillion Books

2. REVIEWS

Welcome to Monster Isle (www.monsterisle.net)
iTunes App

"At first glance, the new Monster Isle app looks like just another simple way to entertain your kids. But dig deep into this digital children's book and you'll find a wealth of treasures. If you're looking for a teaching tool that's both fun and functional, this is definitely worth the money. It will keep young readers entertained (and educated) for hours."

The Year of the Dragon
- iTunes App

"Brandon always enjoy new story apps. I was given the opportunity check out this app together with him. We liked it very much and the illustrations are really adorable. The graphics are amazing! Like all kids, he is curious about everything. He would tap and touch the characters to find out what actions/animations they do. The highlight words also help in developing reading skills. Also a fun way to learn about the Chinese zodiac and the year of the dragon."
