The Discovery of Anime and Manga
by Phil Amara and Oliver Chin, art by Juan Calle
"The book is very informative and presents the history of manga in an appropriate way for kids to truly understand it. The suggested ages are 3 to 12. I think the younger kids would enjoy the colorful pictures and the older kids would enjoy the learning the history of some of their favorite characters and art forms. The book is a fun read and a great resource for any home or classroom."

Sid the Squid
by David Derrick
"We highly recommend this book.... Admittedly, the first time I read this book I thought it was good - but I didn't think it would be one of our regularly read books. How wrong I was! You might not be blown away with it the first time you read it (it's good, but a lot of picture books are good) but the staying power of this book has made me glad that I bought it. The more I read this book to my three-year-old son the more I appreciate it."
