Wonderfully illustrated by animator Jennifer Wood, Dom will entertain adventurous kids and loving parents! The revised edition is bilingual in simplified Chinese.

2. REVIEWS
More Awesome Asian Americans
by Phil Amara and Oliver Chin
illustrated by Juan Calle
"I am happy to recommend More Awesome Asian Americans because it honestly brings to the fore the lives and accomplishments of 20 extraordinary people who persevered despite facing challenges from war, poverty, business failures, their Asian heritage, and in some cases their gender. The book serves as a motivating and inspiring read for any teen who has ever considered giving up when the going gets tough."

Julie Black Belt: The Belt of Fire
by Oliver Chin
illustrated by Charlene Chua
"As with the first book, Charlene Chua's illustrations are bright, cartoon-like feasts of colour that invoke a sense of movement that will keep young eyes flowing from page to page. Sequences depicted as scenes from the Brandy Wu movie Julie is watching at different points in the story have borders made to look like film edging, creating a rather enchanting feeling of watching a movie inside a book. The character of Julie continues to give young girls a strong female protagonist with which to identify."
