C. We love librarians!
---
We appreciate the expertise, experience, and enthusiasm of librarians.
This month we were privileged to join the International Children's Book Display at the annual International Association of School Librarianship (IASL) 2023 conference in Rome.
Recently retired from the San Francisco Unified School District, librarian Kay Hones donated our graphic novel More Awesome Asian Americans, representing the best titles that her region had to offer.
More Awesome Asian Americans was displayed in the "model school library" in the IASL exhibitions area and in the Lasallian Library "kids' corner." The books are donated to Lasallian Schools in socially disadvantaged and deprived areas of Italy and abroad.
Thanks Kay!

The Discovery of Anime & Manga
by Phil Amara and Oliver Chin
"The book is very informative and presents the history of manga in an appropriate way for kids to truly understand it... younger kids would enjoy the colorful pictures and the older kids would enjoy the learning the history of some of their favorite characters and art forms. The book is a fun read and a great resource for any home or classroom."

Justin Time: The Pancake Express
by Brandon James Scott
"The book contains accurate scientific and geographic information, but it is presented as part of the adventure. In this story, the process of creating steam from coal is explained.
