A. Rosie has razzmatazz!
---
Happy Easter - Sunday April 9th! Although Rosie the rabbit may not color eggs, she is a funny bunny who personifies the joys of spring.
"The author/illustrator team of Oliver Chin and Justin Roth have delighted us for years with their zodiac books based on the animals of the Chinese zodiac. The Year of the Rabbit is not first-baby-book reading, but it will still look cute on the nursery bookshelf. Plus, the story about a little boy and a bunny will still be a fun read when that baby is old enough to be all ears at story time. (Sorry, couldn't resist.)"

B. The Octonauts' adventures continue
---
Season 5 of The Octonauts animated TV series began airing in the United Kingdom (UK) on the BBC channel CBeebies last week on March 27th. Check out the new episodes at the BBC website.
In 2014 CBeebies Land opened in the UK theme park Alton Towers Resort. The following year The Octonauts joined the fun with their own mini rollercoaster. Families ride in a convoy of GUPs and spy their favorite teammates, a blue whale, and hidden creatures on the sea floor.

C. More Awesome Asian Americans!
---
Volume 2 is full of fascinating stories on a rainbow of topics.
For example, Major League Baseball's 2023 Opening Day brought many changes to the sport. Learn about how the San Francisco Giants' President Farhan Zaidi started his career in analytics with the Oakland A's Billy Beane, who was profiled in the bestselling book Moneyball.
"This book provides readers an opportunity to learn about talented Asians from many backgrounds. I feel sure that you will find someone amazing you like and at least a few people that you knew nothing about."

Billie the Unicorn
by Brianne Drouhard
"...something about Drouhard's art grabs me and makes me feel like a kid again. She's got the gift of being able to infuse her art with storytelling; the characters she draws are expressive from head to toe. She often uses bright colors, and every piece looks like it belongs in a giant picture book."

Sid the Squid
by David Derrick
"My son loves Sid the Squid and I love reading it to him. We highly recommend this book... the staying power of this book has made me glad that I bought it. The more I read this book to my three-year-old son the more I appreciate it."
