The website Fatherly included the Octonauts in their 2/10/22 list of
Best Short Movies For Kids Under 90 Minutes
Netflix: Octonauts: The Ring of Fire
"Based on the hit TV show, the Octonauts are back with their most risky underwater journey ever to explore The Ring of Fire, (which I now know are) a bunch of volcanoes both above and below the Pacific. Featuring vicious tsunamis and rare whale rescues, this 72-minute seaweed-laden adventure is also the opportune interdisciplinary moment to introduce your mini marine life junkie to your go-to Johnny Cash karaoke song. Plus, this one concludes with all the Octonauts joining together in a Voltron-like contraption that is equal parts cute and awesome."
Immedium published the original four Octonauts books that inspired the hit animated series. Share one of our spectacular stories with a young fan

That Girl on TV Could be Me
by Leticia Ordaz; illustrated by Juan Calle
"Ordaz shares her personal tale... The story is topical as immigrants and women continue to struggle to claim their rightful place in America. Juan Calle's dynamic illustrations go behind the scenes to show how breaking news is covered in a way no other storybook has done before."

Julie Black Belt: The Belt of Fire
by Oliver Chin; illustrated by Charlene Chua
"The Julie series is so much fun! It features a strong, joyful & ambitious young girl using her body healthily and happily. She's got attentive and supportive parents and a sweet younger brother that loves her. This is a fun book for lower elementary kids and a great read aloud for focusing on topics of perseverance, hard work, and big dreams!"
