A. The Octonauts in Arizona!
Last month, the Octonauts launched their new zone at the SEA LIFE Aquarium in Kansas City...and the Royals just won Major League Baseball's World Series!

Sound the Octo-Alert again!

Starting next week, from November 13-22, SEA LIFE Arizona welcomes Captain Barnacles and Kwazii from our hit book series, which is now an animated TV show on the Disney Channel.

Participate in the Octonauts Training Academy and learn what it takes to become a member of the crew. As cadets, kids can:
- master the specialties of their favorite characters across 6 fun zones
- meet Captain Barnacles and Kwazii in person and
- get special Octonauts certificates for completing their training!

Who knows what luck Arizona will enjoy now?

B. Max the Monkey swings near
We happily report that The Year of the Monkey will arrive in the USA before Thanksgiving.

This is the 11th exciting adventure in our annual series Tales from the Chinese Zodiac.

Check out 3 new coloring pages, illustrated by artist Kenji Ono, featuring our new hero Max, his pal Kai, and his dynamic parents the Monkey King and Queen.

Plus we've created a complimentary Teacher guide: help Max navigate a word find, maze, and crossword!

FREE 8x10 photo:
The first person to pre-order a copy of The Year of the Monkey from our website this month will get a free 8x10 photo of the book cover, suitable for framing :)

Max is eager to meet you all!

C. San Francisco Birth & Baby Fair: Presidio
We look forward to sharing our children's books with new and expectant parents in the San Francisco Bay Area on Sunday, November 15, at the Golden Gate Club in the Presidio.

This is a great venue and convenient one-stop shop for holiday gift-giving.

The first 150 families will receive a goody bag filled with samples, products, gift cards and discounts. Plus you can win giveaways and raffle prizes such as free strollers. See you there!

Good Dream, Bad Dream
by Juan Calle and Serena Valentino

"Listen in as a father coaxes his son to sleep by reminding him that for all the monsters he can dream up, there are heroes (drawn from a variety of world cultures) who are uniquely equipped to defeat them in this bilingual Spanish-English story."
- Brain Hive

Sora and the Cloud
by Felicia Hoshino

"Sora and the Cloud is a enchanting story of a little boy and his new friend 'Cloud' both go on an adventure flying high over the city. Author Felicia Hoshino says, 'I wanted Sora and the Cloud to be bilingual, simply so that both my husband and I could enjoy reading it to our children in each of our native languages; for myself English and for my husband in Japanese.' Beautifully written and illustrated, you will love reading it with your children."
