A. Immedium at ALA in SF
---
Immedium attends the annual conference of the American Library Association (ALA) at San Francisco's Moscone Center starting June 26th.

The ALA is the oldest and largest library association in the world and has the largest convention, attended by 25,000 librarians, teachers, educators, publishers, and authors.

Oliver Chin will share our children's books at Table 120 in Artists Alley.

Librarians are our favorite people! We're eager to show them our latest stories that their students and patrons will enjoy reading.

B. The Octonauts Live in the UK and Australia
---
The Octonauts has been adapted into theatrical family entertainment, touring in the United Kingdom and Australia.

In the UK, Captain Barnacles, Kwazii and Peso star in the new live stage show Octonauts and the Deep Sea Volcano Adventure. Visit strange new worlds full of mysteries to unravel and with surprises around every corner - this action-packed, interactive show features music and all your favorite characters!

Australia's second-biggest children's television program, the Octonauts perform in another show about the Great Barrier Reef in the land down under.

C. New Parents event in San Mateo
---
Immedium returns to the San Mateo Event Center for the annual SF Birth and Baby fair on June 20th.

We always like meeting new and expectant parents!

They especially enjoy the Tales from the Chinese Zodiac series, which commemorates the birth years of their children.

The first 150 families will receive a goody bag filled with samples, products, gift cards and discounts! Plus participate in free demos, workshops, and prize raffles.

Email us to get a free pass (good for 2 people). We have a limited number available - so first come, first served!

The Octonauts
By Oliver Chin

and Alina Chau "This is a heart warming, charming tale where children will learn about the personality of those who are born in the year of the sheep. The illustrations are enchanting, gorgeous watercolours by Alina Chau and add to the enjoyment, and I'm sure the endearment of this book. As my daughter said about Sydney 'she is just so cutie, and pretty, and I love her.' Sydney will capture the hearts of many."

Good Dream, Bad Dream
By Juan Calle and Serena Valentino

"As a parent of two girls, I appreciate seeing strong female characters defeating the bad guys, as shown above in the fierce Archer who holds back the pack of scowling Cyclops. Those who love details can peer closely at the pictures and see the names of mythical and storybook creatures worked into the illustrations."
