Dinosaur fans will love Dave's 4th storybook Play with your Food.

Dave presents his new tale to classrooms of kids on October 3rd at Horace Mann Elementary School in Glendale, CA.

The Year of the Sheep stars the lamb Sydney - she likes to walk to the beat of a different drummer!

We welcome our new series artist Alina Chau. Previously she illustrated The Treehouse Heroes and the Forgotten Beast, and will sign copies of that book at her table at the Alternative Press Expo this weekend.

The Sheep is sailing across the Pacific and will arrive by Thanksgiving. Pre-order an autographed copy today!

2. REVIEWS

Julie Black Belt: The Belt of Fire
By Oliver Chin,
illustrated by Charlene Chua

"With its bright, action-packed cover in super hero style, this book will draw young readers in, especially those interested in martial arts. Julie's hero Brandy Wu stars in The Belt of Fire. Through this film and her own experiences with the new boy Brandon in her martial arts class, she learns that working together as allies rather than as adversaries brings out the best in both of them... Girls, especially, may welcome a female protagonist in a kung fu book, but primary boys will most likely enjoy this story as well."
- Puget Sound Council

The Treehouse Heroes
By Phil Amara,
illustrated by Alina Chau

"Comic book editor, author, and teacher Amara has written a mystical tale. Chau's work in animation is evident in her uniquely designed color illustrations. In a land where rivers have dried and villagers are cutting old trees, the magical beast Zez finds herself in the care of the Treehouse Heroes, five equally magical beings and their Teacher...Comic book and graphic novel fans will find this intricately detailed picture book of interest. Recommended."
