A. Play with David Derrick
---
Dave Derrick's 4th storybook Play with your Food debuts this month.
This romp will make you reconsider that age old adage about proper mealtime behavior...especially if you happen to be the one on the menu!
Meet a panoply of prehistoric creatures that pre-date the dinosaurs...and they are all hungry! But can a small fry convince a big dimetrodon to play with its food instead of eating it?
It will be loads of fun to find out - watch Dave's new YouTube trailer!
Did you know why the dimetrodon was not a dinosaur? Learn more in this clever YouTube video by Brain Scoop from the Field Museum in Chicago.
B. Enjoy a Good Dream!
---
Our second new adventure Good Dream, Bad Dream launches in October.
Successfully funded on Kickstarter, it features super heroes and fabled heroines from around the world.
Created by Liberum Donum and Serena Valentino, it is our first Spanish bilingual storybook.
Learn about the legendary guardians of the galaxy! Julio's papa tells him that people everywhere have always relied on champions to make their dreams good. Get ready for a feast of comic book art and action!
C. Visit the SF Dragon Boat Festival
---
On the weekend of September 20th, Immedium is happy to participate in the 19th annual San Francisco International Dragon Boat Festival.
This is the largest competitive celebration in the United States. More than 130 dragon boat teams and 3,500 paddlers will race off Treasure Island.
It inspired the activities of our hero Dominic in our recent story The Year of the Dragon from our series Tales from the Chinese Zodiac!
Every year, we like sharing our books with new families and dedicated readers.
We look forward to seeing you there!
