After a boffo San Diego Comic-con, Attaboy is every which way but loose, sharing his funny book:
You Might be a Monster: and other Stories I Made Up

Catch him this weekend at Dragatomi (8/5, Sacramento, CA) and The Escapist (8/6, Berkeley).

Then on August 7th, Atta hits the SF MOMA for Family Sundays, 11 am - 3 pm with the theme "What's the STORY":
- 11:30 am: author readings on the 2nd floor in the Koret Education Center
- 12:30 pm: signing in the Museum store.
Plus Atta will award a lucky fan an ultra-rare, glow-in-the-dark, "heat-seeking" Astrx vinyl toy!

The following week, Atta visits LA's Meltdown Comics (August 11), and returns to the Bay Area at Sweet Breams (8/12, San Mateo) and Books Inc. (8/13, Alameda).

Atta is the co-publisher of Hi Fructose magazine (www.hifructose.com), whose latest issue volume #20 is already sold out.

Billie the Unicorn
978-1-59702-024-4, $15.95

"I am madly in love with Brianne Drouhard's art right now. She is an illustrator and character designer, most notably she worked on Teen Titans and The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. If you enjoy her art you should check out her new book 'Billie the Unicorn' which looks hella cute…Her style is really flexible, and reminds me of what might happen if adorable manga styled art and the art of Ren & Stimpy's John K. had a magical baby."

See Brianne at Kidspace Children's Museum (8/7, Pasadena, CA) and her new animated trailer:

The Octonauts & the Only Lonely Monster
978-1-59702-005-3, $15.95

"Are you ready for THE OCTONAUTS?...Because once you introduce this book to your child, you are going to be reading this book A LOT. Unlike some books which shall remain nameless, reading this one twenty gazillion times....or for the rest of your life, potentially, won't make you loopy or feel like hurling the book across the room screaming, 'NO MORE!' THIS one, I promise you, you will ENJOY reading over and over. And I promise you your kids are going to lose their minds over it! I think without a shadow of a doubt that these little aquatic cuties are the most fun under-the-sea creatures I've ever come across."
