B. Attaboy's debut storybook
---
Shel Silverstein's anthology of illustrated poems A Light in the Attic was written in 1981.
Fast-forward 30 years and you get Attaboy.
Attaboy is renown for his iconic toys and unique imagination (www.yumfactory.com), and publishing the popular art magazine Hi Fructose (www.hifructose.com).
Now he's put his heart and soul into creating his first storybook, which will launch at the San Diego Comic-Con (www.comic-con.org) in July.
You Might be a Monster: and other Stories I Made Up
Walk on the wilder side - this collection of madcap poems is meant for everyone who is still growing up! Drawn in Attaboy's trademark style of border-busting colors and shapes, come a rainbow of creatures such as a hugging cactus, zombie clowns, and a boy who may behave a little too monstrously…
Every pre-order will receive a special surprise, only from the mind of Mr. Atta, who looks forward to presenting these tall tales wherever reading is allowed! If you're interested in hosting an event, contact us!
C. Desert to Dream updates the Burning Man experience
---
Our 2006 first printing of Desert to Dream, our groundbreaking Burning Man photography book, recently sold out. But the 50,000 annual attendees still deserved this keepsake souvenir...
So author Barbara Traub added:
- two more years of photos (2006 and 2009)
- 16 more pages
- and 24 new photos
all for the same price of $29.95.
The revised edition of Desert to Dream (now a dozen years!) ships starting July 4th! Get a new copy and grab a coffee table. Then, from your own front row seat, soak in more spectacular fireworks from the Black Rock Desert.
