Jeff Miracola
Jeff Miracola's artwork is appreciated worldwide in trading cards for Wizards of the Coast's Magic: The Gathering and Upper Deck's World of Warcraft.
He began as professional freelance illustrator in 1993, at the age of 22, working with companies like Wizards of the Coast, Inc (WOTC) and White Wolf Game Studios, after showing his portfolio at the GenCon gaming convention.
For WOTC, he has created more than 100 paintings (with more on the way) and autographed his collectible cards at gaming shows worldwide.
Jeff's art has been featured in multiple volumes of the annual book series Spectrum: The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art, as well as in many "how to" magazines such as ImagineFX .
He has illustrated for Warner Bros. Batman Beyond, Nickelodeon's Animorphs, Dungeons & Dragons, and in games for Electronic Arts. His family resides in New York.
Jeff' honors include a Gold Award in Infected by Art vol. 2, Silver Award from Spectrum: the Best in Fantastic Art, being 2011 GenCon Artist Guest of Honor, and having his work exhibited in multiple museum exhibits, such as Masters of Science Fiction & Fantasy Art (Kenosha Public Museum), Dream Worlds: The Art of Imaginative Realism (Canton Museum of Art), Enchanted Brush (Mazza Museum), and Worldbuilders at the South Bend Museum of Art, alongside legendary artist Michael Whelan.
